With New Year's Day fast approaching many of us are thinking about our resolutions. Pagans and Witches tend to think along the lines of their spiritual lives when considering resolutions, and one of the most common complaints one hears uttered is that people have difficulty integrating their spirituality into their daily lives. Creating a daily (or at least regular!) spiritual practice can be challenging, but it is the best way to stay connected to the divine and to continue co-creating your life instead of being subject to it.

Here are some suggestions based on over 20 years of practice and experience. Pick one or two and be resolute in your attempts to integrate these practices into your every day life, and you will find your spirituality expanding to touch all aspects of your life.

This article is very well done and full of inspired ideas.  With the prayers and offering's I generally mix the two.  One in the morning and one before bed.

May your Yule celibration be merry and have a blessed new year.

Brilliant article, it's going straight into my BoS!

Daily practice was a problem for me for the longest time, I couldn't find something that I could stick with. I love to write but a journey didn't work. But I always wront my journal by hand, the same way I did for my other writing. Then, one day, on a whim ,I decided to start a journal on my laptop. And guess what? It works. I love typing it up, it's so much more enjoyable for some reason. I'm even going to try writing stories this way.Laugh

I love the idea of a journal, like most girls growing up I had quite a few diaries, but I think getting back into it for spiritual purposes is a great idea.

Loved the article btw, very well written

I'll echo all this about loving to journal. I'm find keeping an electronic journal on the web (for the 101 casts) is proving highly enjoyable as well.

Actually that's yet another reason I was drawn to paganism. When I read about keeping a BoS it really struck a chord with me.

Daily practice really is something we all struggle with I guess. Actually, I think that's true of pretty much every religion. It seems to be a general human weakness >.<;

Congradulations by the way Feithlin on getting on with the Examiner! I was thinking of trying there myself. They seem like a really cool way to impart information, and it looks like it would be fun writing for them.
